Today is #WorldHumanitarianDay. At present, nearly 60 million people have been forced to flee their homes. Some 78 million people need humanitarian assistance of some form to survive. Today our thoughts are with those affected by conflict and disasters and #KingdomNL pays tribute to all aid workers worldwide who are committed to helping those in need by providing food, water, shelter or medicines.
In Jordan, the Netherlands also contributes to a variety of NGOs and UN organisations that aim to provide humanitarian assistance. #ShareHumanity
